MMI Ministry Report

November 24 to December 1, 2013

Newark, New Jersey (11/24/13)

On the last Sunday of November I was asked to preach at the Love of Jesus Church in Newark, NJ. This is a thriving church started by Bishop Barbara with about 600 people attending every Sunday. They have a passionate young church and are doing much to reach the youth of Newark! In the 8:30am service the Lord led me to prophetically preach on “The Seed of God,” which was a call for the church to have a generational plan and a generational impact starting with their families. There was a strong move of the Spirit and many responded to the altar call. There were several that received prophetic words. In the 12pm service I preached on “Six Steps to Biblical Dominion,” which was a continuation of the first message regarding how transformation has to start with marriages and families. In this teaching I also laid out the insidious attempt of Satan to wipe out African-American families through Planned Parenthood targeting minority communities for abortions. I showed how the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was an avowed white supremacist who wanted to exterminate “the Negro race”! There was another strong move of the Spirit in this service with all the married couples and parents responding to the altar call. There were several dozen prophetic words given over people by myself and my prophetic companion, Andre Walker.

Ocean City, New Jersey (evening of 11/24/13)

Immediately after these two services in Newark we had to drive about 120 miles to Ocean City, NJ to minister at 6pm to about 150 pastors and leaders representing about 20 churches in the recently formed South Jersey Revival Alliance. Initiated by apostolic leader Pastor Walter Nistorenko, this is a strong and promising move of unity taking place in that region that transcends denominational affiliation! God prophetically led me to teach on “Reaching your Region with the Kingdom” based on principles from the Lord’s Prayer that can be corporately applied to their region. In this service my close friend Hubie Synn, along with Andre Walker, helped me minister prophetically as about 100 leaders responded to the altar call. Many powerful and specific words of knowledge were released over several dozen leaders because of our ability to prophetically tag team! This was truly a very important night as many pastors and leaders had a paradigm shift that expanded their thinking so their local churches would now equip marketplace leaders and shepherd their communities, not just their congregations!

The next morning I met with about 30 leaders privately as they shared their hearts. I taught on “Connecting the Gospel to the Kingdom.” God knit our hearts together and brought further clarity as we drilled down deeper as to how a local church can nurture world-class leaders that can shift culture. I met many wonderful pastors who are doing incredible work in their communities and I am thankful to our hosts, Pastors Joshua Kennedy and Walter Nistorenko, for bringing us all together! I know this is only the beginning of a long relationship we will have together as God truly connected South Jersey with the New York City region through my kingdom connection with them!

Darien, Connecticut (morning of 12/1/13)

On the first day of December, I ministered in the 9am and 11 am services at New Beginnings Community Church, which is overseen by my close friend, Pastor Robert Cassara.

NBCC is a thriving multi-ethnic cell-based church that has numerous community outreaches, a powerful youth ministry, global missions, and amazing worship and arts ministries! God gave me a prophetic teaching the day before on “Faith in Life” based on a practical and biblical understanding of Hebrews 11:1,6 regarding how the substance of faith is none other than God Himself imparting His essence in our spirits to enable us to believe for the supernatural! Since the substance of faith is inextricably connected to the divine nature of God inside of us we cannot disconnect God from our faith (i.e., it is not a separate “law of faith”). Indeed, the whole purpose of faith is so we believe God is, and earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). God gave me great liberty to preach and teach, and there was a powerful move of God. Most of the congregation responded to the altar call and rededicated their lives to God! Because faith involves the “evidence of things that are not seen” faith is also connecting our walk with God with dealing with the challenges and circumstances in life. Thus, instead of using our faith for a life of comfort without challenges faith will continually push us to live a life on the edge that thrives on challenges! I thank God for the privilege of ministering in this great church and I look forward to being back with them as soon as possible!
