MMI Ministry Report

March 2015

It’s hard to believe, but almost a quarter of the New Year has already passed! Time is going by fast because so much is taking place. The following is a brief summary report of the extensive ministry that took place this past month.

Words of Life Church, New York City (Sunday March 8)

On Sunday March 8, I ministered in this great church in the Bronx, New York. Apostle Ben Paz leads that church. This is perhaps the fastest growing Hispanic Church in our city, with an average attendance of about 1200 people. On this day I preached on “Six steps to biblical dominion” based on Genesis 1:27-28. This is a very challenging message for a congregation in our cultural context, because it connects having biological children to our calling and purpose. God moved powerfully and many people responded to the altar call in both services and my book “Walk in Generational Blessing” essentially sold out! I thank God for the opportunity to share my heart with this great congregation and I applaud the great apostolic work Apostle Ben Paz is doing in our city.

The Upper Room World Assembly, Long Island, N.Y. (March 15)

I am always excited to preach at this great church, which has historically hosted some of the greatest renewals and revivals in Long Island, New York. This church is led by a team of elders and pastors under the leadership of Bishop Anthony Donofrio, and it has also been considered the largest church in the region for many years.

During this service I preached on “The Generational Kingdom” based on a biblical survey of the generational emphasis of Scripture for God’s people. There was a tremendous move of the Spirit of God with hundreds responding to the altar call to receive a generational anointing in both services. Bishop Tony told me that every time I go there to minister, a lasting imprint is left upon their congregation.

European Trip (March 21-28)

Toulouse France (March 21-25)
Accompanied by my spiritual son Eddie Torres, I went to France for the first time by the invitation of perhaps the most influential apostolic leader of the nation, Jean-Marc Potenti.

Jean-Marc leads perhaps the largest and most significant network in the nation with almost 50 churches, which is huge for a nation with less than one percent evangelical Christians.

Sunday (March 22)

On this day I taught on the Lord’s Kingdom Prayer found in Matthew 6:6-9 to a congregation of a few hundred which is big for France. This is the congregation led by Jean-Marc Potenti. The Spirit of God moved very strong during their worship and God gave me great liberty to teach on how to live our lives based on this framework laid out by Jesus Christ.

Monday (March 23)

On this day I met privately with about 40 leaders from across the nation who makes up the apostolic teams of this network of networks of 50 churches. I shared with them for several hours on “Ten ways to activate and implement vision in an apostolic network”.

All the leaders said the teachings were very helpful and needed for where they want to go. There were also many practical suggestions made in terms of structuring leadership teams and implementation of strategy and ministry placement based on ability and natural gifting.

Tuesday and Wednesday (March 24-25)

On these two days I did several sessions dealing with understanding the gospel of the Kingdom of God. I taught on the negative consequences of separating the gospel from the kingdom for two sessions and the others two sessions the next day I taught on the four models of the kingdom and the five models for societal transformation. The teachings were received very well and Jean-Marc told me that he has never seen a minister from outside his nation received so well and who connected so well with their leadership and network! He told that they were already asking when I would come back.

Portugal ECAL Summit (March 26-27)

We flew to Portugal after the French Summit ended and arrived in the evening on Wednesday March 25.

During these two days I met with 40 apostolic leaders from many nations of both Eastern and Western Europe, many of whom lead their own apostolic networks. ECAL stands for the European Coalition of Apostolic Leaders; the convener of this coalition is Jan-Aggie Torp from Norway, a friend of mine for many years. He is doing a great job facilitating meetings, conversations and aiding the apostolic movement in Europe.

God was gracious to us and moved very powerfully through the teaching sessions those two days. During those sessions I dealt with the topics regarding the call of the church to apply the Kingdom of God to culture. Topics included: Understanding the structure of the Kingdom, four models of the Kingdom and more! There was robust dialogue and a response and interaction after each session, which was fantastic! It was a learning experience on both ends as I received more understanding related to the way European culture and the church interacts.

All in all, this was one of the most fruitful ministry trips I have ever had because of the significant imprint left on the leaders as well as the great relationships that resulted. I met many great leaders from many parts of Europe and I already received requests to come back to France, Holland, Angola, Eastern Europe and more.

I thank God for the honor and privilege of representing and teaching the things concerning His kingdom to many nations of the world!

I also thank God for the close fellowship I continue to have with men such as Eddie Torres who was a great blessing to me and made this trip much easier for me!
