Santo Domingo: July 4-6 

The Love of God Church 

I was excited to visit my old friends in the Dominican Republic: Apostles Jorge and Jenny Reynoso. Many years ago in 1993 I was led by the Lord to spontaneously launch a network of pastors while I was conducting a seminar in Santo Domingo and I prophetically installed Pastor Jorge as the leader. Today, 21 years later, it is perhaps the largest network in the nation and also has branch networks in many nations of Latin America. Jorge is one of the most well-known leaders in Latin America and is regularly on television and radio and has one of the largest churches in the nation. They also have the best Latin jazz worship teams I have ever heard.

Friday Night July 4th I preached on the “Cultural Mandate” of Genesis 1:28. God moved powerfully upon the people and hundreds responded to the altar call to allow God to use them to perpetuate the kingdom through their biological and spiritual children.

The next night I preached on having a generational view of spiritual warfare and destiny. I literally saw the paradigm change from individualism to kingdom right before my eyes as hundreds of leaders responded at the end.

On Sunday morning I preached on “Having our Identity as Sons of the Father”. This was a real prophetic word that had a breaker anointing to propel the church to the next level and to encourage the church to believe that the best years of their church were still ahead. Pastor Jorge told me that the church was greatly edified by the message and the prophetic words that were given to the church and to key individuals. They told me that they felt great momentum and encouragement in their church for the first time in a very long time. The Reynosos are very dear to my heart as close friends and I hope to be able to go back there soon to continue to bless their great work!

Sunday Night at the Mountain of God Church in Santo Domingo

At night I preached at the Mountain of God church led by Apostle Miguel Bogaert, former lung surgeon who began a church 11 years ago that is now known by many as the largest church in the nation! They have four services every Sunday with about 1,200 to 1,500 people in each service. They also do much community service and have developed a mobile medical clinic that serves the poorest in their community.

I preached on “Six Steps to Biblical Dominion” focusing the most on the call to have a generational blessing through families. God moved very powerfully with one of the strongest breaker anointing I have ever experienced. There were also prophetic words over the son of the pastor and on the church including one that I said: that one of the presidents of the nation is going to come from their church. (Miguel told me later that they received a word five years ago that the first Christian president of the nation was going to come from their church and they have been praying every day for five years for that person to arise from their midst.)

At the end of the message all 1,200 to 1,500 attendees came to the front to receive the Elijah anointing to turn the hearts of the children and fathers back to one another and to break the curse of fatherlessness in their nation.

Friday July 11

On Friday night I was the main speaker along with evangelist Alberto Mottesi at an arena with about 3,000 to 5,000 pastors, leaders and believers. God broke forth in power and changed the course of the whole conference with a word He gave me on “Aligning with your Generations” based on Genesis 1:27-28.  Thousands responded to receive the Elijah Anointing to break the generational curses of fatherlessness in their churches and nation. People were weeping and praying and the presence of God that came down was very thick.

Afterwards the host, Apostle Yasser Rivas, came forth and began praying and exhorting the crowd to stand up for traditional marriage and family and stand against same-sex marriage. (They told me that the Obama Administration is promoting same-sex marriage in their nation through the U.S. Ambassador he appointed to the Dominican Republic.) As a visible manifestation of this message I preached, Pastor Tommy Moya shared the next day on how God restored his marriage and ministry and called for all the struggling couples to come forward so we could pray for them. Hundreds of couples came forward and then I and the other leaders including Alberto Mottesi came on the stage and prayed for Tommy and his wife and recommitted them and their marriage for the glory of God’s kingdom!

Saturday July 12

On Saturday morning I taught on The Cultural Mandate. God gave me a strong teaching anointing and I was able to see God demolish the old wineskin paradigm of the “box church” concept and witness thousands embrace the paradigm of the Kingdom of God in every area of life!

One of the great highlights I had during this conference was to again minister with the great Latin American Evangelist Alberto Mottesi who is called the pastor to the presidents, and meeting Apostle Yasser Rivas, who leads the largest church in Santiago and who is the successor of my dear friend Apostle Lucas Rojas who passed away almost six years ago.  I also had a divine connection with Thamo Naidoo who invited me to come to South Africa and minister to some of the largest church networks in that country.  Thomas is one of the greatest revelators I have heard on the Kingdom of God and I am thrilled to begin a lifelong journey in the Kingdom with him and other key leaders in South Africa. Last but not least, I connected with Pastor Tommy Moya, another speaker at the conference, who has a compelling testimony of being restored back to his ministry and marriage after a moral failure five years ago.

Finally, I want to thank God for prophetic leader and close friend, Jim Jorgensen, who was sent out by our local church (as a pastor/prophet) with his family to the Dominican Republic in the early 1990’s and whom God has used to connect me to these leaders in the Dominican Republic who have become my lifelong friends. Jim has also been used mightily by God to establish and bless hundreds of churches in this great nation and his ministry continues to bless multitudes more.
