On Sunday January 5, 2014 I ministered in two different churches: Abundant Grace Christian Church in Rutherford, New Jersey and The Love of Jesus Family Church in Orange, New Jersey.

Abundant Grace Church (10:30am service)

Pastor Steve Hannett, who is my spiritual son with an emerging apostolic calling who is also part of our network of churches called Christ Covenant Coalition, oversees Abundant Grace. This is a strong emerging church that is building a wonderful New Testament infrastructure built upon “the way of Jesus and the Apostles”, which means there is a strong emphasis on leadership development and church multiplication.

On this day I felt led to teach on “The Transformation of the Inner Man “(available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8hjOIHkXn0)

God gave me great liberty as I taught that true emotional and spiritual transformation cannot take place merely through our own efforts but only by allowing God room to operate in our lives, as we give God the time and attention we need we allow the Holy Spirit to work deeply within our souls, which is a process of conformity to the image of Jesus Christ. We need to especially practice the spiritual disciplines of mediation on the word, sitting under preaching, being in a small group for discipleship, fasting, prayer, and spending time daily in silence and solitude which enables us to both discern what God is doing within our souls as well as the true condition of our souls.

There was an altar call and a large percentage of the people responded to the call for personal transformation!

Andre Walker and I ministered prophetically as God gave very specific words of knowledge that greatly edified the saints!

The Love of Jesus Family Church (7:30pm service)

Every year around this time I look forward to ministering in this church and seeing my dear friend Pastor Jason Alvarez!

Pastor Jason is an apostolic leader who has been in full-time church and music ministry for almost four decades! Love of Jesus is a thriving church with well over 1,000 regular attendees with branch churches in different parts of the Tri-State region! They donate thousands to missions and now have a goal of planting a new church every few months!

This night the Lord led me to preach on “The Affirmation of the Father” based on the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:6-9.

God gave me a strong preaching anointing and the altar was full of people God wanted to recalibrate in their souls with a strong identity of God as their Father!

On this night my close prophetic friends Hubie Synn and Andre Walker joined me, who minister with me as they are able. God broke out with very specific words of knowledge as well as emotional healing from “father wounds”! Many were weeping as Pastor Jason Alvarez and I went around embracing and praying for those wounded by their earthly fathers so the love of their Father God could bring healing!

What a glorious night! Hubie and Andre also both ministered prophetically to Pastor Jason and other leaders who were present with great blessing!

Hawaii Leadership Summit (January 14-16)

My dear friend Apostle Emanuele Cannistraci, now 81 years-old, has been like a father to me since the mid 1990’s! Every year he brings together his close ministry associates for a private leadership summit in Hawaii. This year there were about 90+ leaders from Australia, Canada, the USA and other nations of the world. Notable leaders such as Mel Mullen, Scott Hagan, Francis Anfuso, Ed Delph, James Marocco, Mike Servello, David Cannistraci, Emanuele Cannistraci, George Johnson, Eddie Long (first-time guest) and many others came together to network, share and hear from one another.

I was one of several speakers and shared on the topic “Embracing a New Apostolic Truth”. In this teaching I got into how the apostolic is more of an action-oriented ministry than theory, which is why I used the term “truth” instead of “theology”. The Lord gave me great liberty as I taught on 12 essentials of apostolic truth, which went along with my fellow panel members Ed Delph who shared on positive church trends, and George Johnson who gave a personal description of what an apostolic leader is. We also had a robust 30 minutes of Q & A. After the session was over many leaders came up to me and signed up for my weekly newsletter, and all of the books I brought on the kingdom were gone in a few minutes! Everywhere I go people are very hungry to hear the message of the Kingdom of God! I made a strong connection with several leaders whom I met for the first time including Eddie Long, Scott Hagan, and Francis Anfuso. I am trusting that the friendships I make at summits like this will have a huge impact for the Kingdom of God!

Mexico Apostolic Leadership Conference (January 21-25 in Mexico City)

Under the leadership of Apostle Cordillo, the CIMA (Coalition of International Mexican Apostles) had a historic gathering with dozens of the top apostolic leaders of Mexico and Latin America as well as 2,000 pastors and leaders for a week of teaching on societal transformation! I and John Kelly, Dennis Peacocke, Kluane Spake, Hector Torres and several others were the keynote speakers from the USA.

God spoke through the teachings and changed the paradigm of the Mexican church! God gave me great liberty as I taught on Wednesday January 22 on “The Importance of the Local Church for Societal Transformation”; on Thursday January 23 I taught on “Six Steps to Biblical Dominion “ (how marriage and family are the cornerstone of generational dominion). Then on Friday January 24 they doubled my time and God gave me a powerful word on “The Generational Kingdom” in which I showed through many books of the Bible that God works generationally through biological families to achieve cultural dominion, specifically how the cultural mandate of Genesis 1:26-28 first starts with marriage, then having children, then multiplying children who go forth and subdue the earth and bring dominion! At the close of the message all 2,000 leaders ran to the front to repent and turn their hearts to their biological and spiritual children and we prayed to release the spirit of Elijah upon them. It was so important that we changed the speaking schedule later on because, after apostolic leaders John Kelly (the international leader) and Cordilla commissioned the apostolic leaders who joined CIMA, all the apostolic leaders that came and stood on the platform repented for not being spiritual fathers and then, with all 2,000 in the front, I had a word from the Lord for these apostolic leaders of CIMA to go through the crowd of leaders and embrace them and allow the Lord to heal the “father wounds” they had! Many said this was a historic service and one that will change the destiny of the Mexican church!

The result is that I have been invited by several of the top apostolic leaders of Mexican cities and megachurches to come back and spend a few days training all the pastors and marketplace leaders of their cities!

Later on, in the night services, Kluane Spake taught on releasing the women of the church from religious and cultural bondage and they all came to the front and the men repented for the way they treat their spouses and women!

What a privilege to be part of the historic rebirthing of the apostolic generational movement of the Mexican church!

I believe their church and society will never be the same!
