Thank you Bishop Mattera for this timely blog post. This is another example of why we need the teaching of sound doctrine in our churches. In an attempt to procure more of God, we are continually in danger of wrongly dividing the Word and the Spirit. Back to the foundations and back away from performance driven ministry.
Great article Bishop Mattera.
Tx all!
Thank you for setting the record straight.
Unfortunately some very anointed, God Fearing pastors and self called healing pastors have fallen into this practice……….or were SLOWLY drawn in by those they trusted…..WITCHCRAFT IT IS no matter how you dress it up. And just for the record….. you can’t blame every church pastor who has either knowingly or unknowingly allowed one of these misguided pastors to speak at their church. You are NEVER going to agree with EVERY teacher that walks into your church that is why our PASTORS are to teach us to “rightly divide the word”. Thank you for speaking out Pastor Mattera . It sends out some guidelines and confirms questions many parents and pastors have regarding who to ask into their church to teach the most impressionable …..young adults and teens. I for one would not allow any Pastor who practices this to EVER get close enough to my children to touch them. There is much power in the lawing on of hands …..GOOD and BAD .
