Dear friend,

It has come to my attention that unidentified emails are being sent in my name, requesting phone calls and possibly even soliciting money. Please be advised that these are fraudulent communications and should be reported as scams.

I want to make it very clear:

✅ I will never send unsolicited emails asking for a phone call or money.

✅ Any legitimate opportunities to support me or my ministry will always be communicated directly through my official channels.

🚨 Guidelines to Protect Yourself:

1️⃣ Ignore and Report Suspicious Emails & Messages

If you receive an unexpected email, text, or call from someone claiming to be me, do not engage.

Scammers can now use AI-generated voices and even deepfake videos to impersonate individuals. Stay vigilant.

2️⃣ Legitimate Donations Are ONLY Through My Website

Any opportunities to support me or my ministry will never be solicited via unknown emails or direct requests.

The only official donation page is at josephmattera.org.

3️⃣ Disregard Communications from Unknown Numbers or Emails

If we already have a personal relationship, and you receive an unexpected message from an unfamiliar number or email claiming to be me, it is a scam.

4️⃣ Be More Vigilant Than Ever

Fraud is evolving rapidly, with AI-generated voice replication and facial recognition deepfakes making scams more deceptive.

Always verify before responding to any suspicious requests.

🔍 How You Can Help:

Report suspicious emails as spam and block unknown senders.

Share this warning with others in your network to prevent fraud.

If you ever have doubts, reach out to me directly through my official channels.

Thank you for your vigilance and support in helping protect our community from fraud.

Blessings,
Joseph Mattera
