I recently finished reading the new biography, “Bonheouffer” and can highly recommend it to every church leader. It challenges us to action in the face of evil. When Christians across our City continue to support and vote for officials whose pollicies are directly opposite of Scripture, it brings shame to the cause of Christ. Every believer, regardless of race or status iin life, must make the choice for the party and the men and women who will best represent our Biblical values. That is not happening across America, and we are paying the price for it in our government, schools, and soon in our churches. To quote Bonhoeffer, “God will not hold us guiltless.” Pastors arise and tell our people that values still trump every thing else in the ballot box. We have enough born-again believers in NYC to elect dozens of Godly, or at leaat God-fearing people to office…if we put everything else aside for the Biblical values that hold us together.
This is so true, we are living in a society where people are afraid to speak and act because they fear the effects it will have on them, but what it is to love our lives and then lose it
