It is unity in right worship. For protestants, it is impossible but not for Roman Catholics and Orthodox. The Sacred Liturgy binds not only believers here on earth but also believers from all time and place through the ordination of the priest who acts in the person of Jesus Christ. This communion is the communion that Jesus talked about in the Gospel of John. Through this communion, the body of Christ for all time is one and then can be sent out (Mass) to the world with the help of the ulniversal church (all believers now and forever) Afterall, Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Thus, we operate at the sacred liturgy in his realm not ours.
