Scripture teaches us in Isaiah 45:15 that God hides Himself. This means that He does not reveal Himself to casual seekers – truly it is the glory of God to conceal things but the glory of kings to search things out (Proverbs 25:2), hence it is a royal and noble task to plumb the depths of the knowledge and glory of God!

A covenant is an agreement we make with someone else. Whenever we have an agreement within ourselves to disobey God in a certain area of our lives, we have made a covenant with death that needs to be broken. Many in the Body of Christ are in a wilderness experience in this day and age. The wilderness is a place in Christ in which you are out of the house of bondage but you are not quite in the Promised Land. The Promised Land is when you are walking in the fullness of the Spirit and of Purpose in Christ Jesus The wilderness is a great time of testing, confusion, frustration, and it brings out the dark side of our soul because we are constantly confronted with our false self which manifests the most while we are in the fire. Many saints of old have called this period “the dark night of the soul.”
It cannot be overstated how important it is that we see things accurately in order to function properly in this world. For example, we have to pass an eye exam before we receive a license to drive a motor vehicle to confirm we are good judges and can accurately distinguish the location of objects and read signs while driving at high speeds.
