MMI Ministry Report

October 2-3: CCC Leadership Retreat

On October 2-3 I led our bi-annual Christ Covenant Coalition leadership retreat. In this retreat we focused on the attitudes Christ called us to walk in before we have the right to be called the salt and light of the world. I went through the various attitudes Christ implored us to walk in starting with Matthew 5:1-12.

God challenged the several dozen leaders present to not only desire the ministry of Christ, but also the character of Christ so we can influence the world for Jesus.

October 10-11: Business Ethics Conference

Marketplace leader Philip Clements hosted an invitation-only event for high-end leaders, which had several theologians and many high-end business people such as the CEO of Popeyes, Bob Doll and many more. Phil heard me speak at the national Pinnacle Forum convention this past February; he asked me to be the keynote speaker to open up the main event on Saturday October 11 at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Manhattan.

God gave me a word to teach on the “Structure of the Kingdom of God” which connects together the seven mountains, public policy, the five jurisdictions of the kingdom, the law of God found in the Pentateuch, the beatitudes of the gospels, and the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. My goal was for everyone to be able to put the entire Bible together so we could have proper equilibrium for personal and societal impact.

God seemed to move powerfully through the preaching and teaching. I heard that both the theologians and the marketplace leaders were impacted by the presentation. God opened up doors for more collaboration and friendship between others and myself. This was truly a great event. I have much respect and appreciation for Philip Clements and the vision God has given him of applying the law of God to business.

October 18: Breath of Life Conference

On Saturday October 18 I preached the keynote night session at a prophetic apostolic conference led by prophetic leader Jim Jorgensen. There were almost 200 leaders from the Tri-state region who converged together in Darien, Connecticut for this gathering.

Other conference speakers included Philip Cappuccio, Robert Engelhardt, Elliott Penn, John Cava and others.

I gave an overview of the book of Ephesians and showed how this book is really a book that is a snapshot of the biblical theme of the Kingdom of God for the entire Bible.

Many people experienced a big paradigm shift and said they never heard anyone expound Ephesians like this before. Jim Jorgensen is doing a wonderful work reaching nations with mission teams, prophetic ministry, and equipping the saints in gatherings like this one. I am very proud of him as he is a part of our network (Christ Covenant Coalition) and has been a dear partner in the gospel since the early 1980’s.

October 19: New Beginnings Community Church

On Sunday October 19 I was invited by lead pastor Robert Cassara to preach at New Beginnings Community Church. This is a thriving church in Darien, Connecticut that has been connected to our network and myself since 1999.

During both the 9am and the 11am services I preached on “The Father Heart Of God” in which I dealt with the importance of having our identity rooted in Christ as sons and daughters of the Father. There seemed to be a powerful move of the Spirit, healing father wounds, spirits of rejection and orphan spirits. Hundreds of people were edified and the altar was filled with people beginning the journey of walking in the affirmation of God as their Father.

October 24-26: Freeport Bible Center’s 25th Anniversary Convention

Apostle Carlos Luis Vargas asked me to preach both on Friday night and Sunday morning for his convention. The place was packed with about 400-500 leaders from all over the world. God gave me a word entitled “Macro and Micro Narratives” in which I showed from the book of Ephesians how the Kingdom of God is the theme of the Bible, in which all of human history will culminate in both heaven and earth being aligned under the lordship of Christ.

After both messages many leaders came to me and told me they never heard anything like this in all their years in ministry. Both messages seemed to greatly shift the paradigm of the attendees from an individualistic salvation message to a holistic message of the Kingdom of God that includes a call to culture.
