For the past 25 years I have been in the habit of regularly reading books on leadership so I can keep the edge needed to minister at my highest level.

Perhaps the best book I have ever read is Launching a Leadership Revolution by Chris Brady and Orrin Woodward. The book builds upon the concepts of some of the top leadership books written over the past several decades and succinctly presents five major levels of personal leadership development and influence.

Not only that, but it is also replete with short but powerful biographies of great achievers who have modeled each of these levels. Thus this book is not just a collection of unproven theories but principles that have been saliently manifested in the real world throughout history.

Furthermore, I have recently become familiar with the work of one of the authors, Orrin Woodward, and have observed that he is well on his way to mastering all five levels through the amazing multi-million dollar leadership development organization he helped build, which is known as one of the fastest growing business in our nation!

As I read through this book, its simple approach has helped me identify which of the levels I am walking in, where I need improvement, and has given me a great hunger to continue on the exciting journey of personal growth and developing leaders who develop other leaders of leaders.
